MVP Physiotherapy Center is operated by M V P Physio Health Services (Qatar Commercial Registration 233065), based at the Longevity Suite, Virgin Active Qatar, Msheireb Downtown Doha. This policy (“we”, “us”, “MVP”) explains what personal information we collect when you use our website or book a session, how we use it, and your rights under Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
1. Information we collect
When you book a session or contact us, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and any health or training context you choose to share.
When you visit the website, we automatically receive limited technical data via our analytics provider (page views, approximate location at city level, device type, referring page, anonymized IP address).
If you contact us via WhatsApp or Instagram, we receive the information those platforms share with us by default; we are not responsible for what they collect on their own behalf.
2. How we use your information
Booking and care: to confirm appointments, prepare your session, follow up after treatment, and keep clinical records where required.
Communication: to reply to your enquiries, send appointment reminders, and share information about services you have asked about.
Improvement: to understand how the website is used and improve content, navigation and accessibility. Analytics are aggregated and never used to identify individual visitors.
Legal: to meet our obligations under Qatari healthcare regulations, tax law, and any other binding rule.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: our booking platform (Glofox or Cliniko, used to manage appointments); our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymization); and any service provider strictly necessary to operate the clinic (for example, payment processors).
If a court order or competent authority lawfully requires disclosure, we will comply.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, described in our Cookie Policy. You can refuse non-essential cookies at any time via your browser settings.
5. Retention
Booking and clinical records are retained for the period required by Qatari healthcare regulations. Marketing contact data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained at the provider's default retention setting (currently 14 months for Google Analytics 4).
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop processing it for marketing purposes. We will respond within a reasonable time.
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can contact Qatar's Compliance and Data Protection Department or, if you are based in the EU, your national data protection authority.
7. Security
We protect your data with reasonable technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to clinical records, and vetted third-party processors. No system is perfectly secure; we tell you promptly if we become aware of a breach affecting your data.
